Marsha Ambrosius will soon be singing lullabies. On the final night of the 2016 ESSENCE Festival, the songstress took to the stage as part of the highly-anticipated Prince tribute and she seemed to be dropping a few hints of an important delivery on the way.
After hitting the stage to sing “Take Me a With You,” she segued into singing the late legend’s classic “Do Me Baby.” However, during her rendition, she made it a point to rub her noticeably rounder belly several times, especially each time she sang “baby.” The singer later confirmed the news to ESSENCE, adding that she would soon be welcoming a baby girl.
We can’t help but wonder what type of songs would inspired by this singing mother’s love.
