Lifelong naturalista La’Nisha Lenore grew up using the hot comb as her alternative to chemical relaxers and styling became the key to taking her hair to the next level.
“Styling was big for me,” La’Nisha says. From sassy mohawks to beautiful bantu knots, she was no stranger to trying out new hair looks, but soon the over-styling began damaging her precious strands.
La’Nisha decided that she needed to save her locks before they got much worse, so she started taking heat out of her regime altogether and experienced a hair cut for the very first time.
“I stepped away from heat and started playing with my curls,” she shared about embracing her hair.
Take a look into her natural hair evolution and see how she overcame her hair hurdles throughout the years.
