Activewear is more popular than ever, with options ranging from Lululemon to Ivy Park, so a designer active line isn’t exactly news. But American fashion house Cushnie et Ochs is coming out with one of their own — and here’s why you should care.
The company helmed by Carly Cushnie and Michelle Ochs is partnering with stylish fitness wear brand Bandier for a line of sexy, yet functional, workout clothes featuring the duo’s signature body-con silhouettes, cutouts, and leather.
According to Vogue, the design team created 10 all-black pieces for the collaboration. Looks are made from eight-way stretch, laser-cut fabrics for the most flattering fits and fun details like unexpected negative-space mesh paneling and crisscross straps.
The Cushnie et Ochs and Bandier activewear can’t burn calories or monitor your heart rate but it is smart. The women designed the clothes for changeable exercise routines since today’s wearer may do yoga one day and soul cycle the next.
