Former Family Matters star Darius McCrary is caught up in an ugly domestic abuse allegation battle with his estranged wife Tammy Brawner.
Brawner was granted a restraining order against her husband Wednesday after claiming that he had been abusing her, as well as the couple’s one-year-old daughter Zoey, according to E! News.
But McCrary has fought back, winning his own restraining order against Brawner just hours later by claiming she threw an iron at him during a recent argument, TMZ reports. He accused her of giving him second-degree burns.
In her legal documents, Brawner recalls a violent incident as recently as Feb. 10. She also says her husband held their baby girl over a boiling pot of water, saying he wished he never had her. She plans to file for divorce.

The judge that granted McCrary’s restraining order request insisted Brawner should move out of the family home. But Brawner’s order also calls for McCrary to move out and stay at least 100 yards away from his wife and baby at all times. He’s also banned from any type of visitation until a court hearing in March.
This is not the first time the Family Matters star has been accused of domestic violence. His ex-wife Karrine Steffans accused him of hitting her, thought she later admitted that she lied under oath.
