Dave Chappelle’s going on tour this summer.
According to The Grio, Funny or Die Presents The Oddball Comedy and Curiosity Festival featuring Chappelle and Flight of the Conchords will tour America for five complete weekends beginning August 23rd in Austin, Texas.
Twelve cities will get a taste of the comedy action that promises to be a “laugh apocalypse.” It will wrap up on September 20th in Mountain View, California.
This won’t be Chappelle’s first foray back into stand-up comedy. He’s been spotted doing shows in New York recently.
In February, Chapelle did an impromptu show with Chris Rock at New York’s Comedy Cellar. Their performance fueled rumors they may be going on tour together soon. “After next Tuesday, I’m free for like 11 years,” joked Chappelle. “I’ve got time… By Halloween, I could do some dates,” replied Rock.
