Teen actor Denzel Whitaker continues to spread his acting wings and has signed on to play the former student of a new congresswoman on the CBS pilot series “House Rules,” according to the Hollywood Reporter. Whitaker made his leading-role debut in “The Great Debaters,” where he costarred with both of his namesakes, Denzel Washington and Forest Whitaker.—CJ
