Senator Barack Obama won the North Carolina primary Tuesday night with a 14-point lead over Senator Hillary Clinton. Obama’s decisive victory in North Carolina boosted his lead, inching him closer to the Democratic presidential nomination.
Senator Clinton saw a narrow victory in Indiana last night, garnering 51 percent of the vote. She now faces what seems to be the impossible feat of surpassing Obama’s lead in convention delegates and the popular vote. However, Clinton vowed to push on to next week’s primary in West Virginia and contests later this month in Kentucky and Oregon.
