Pastor DeVon Franklin and actress Meagan Good have spent much of the last few years sharing vital relationship advice for couples looking to strengthen their bonds, but Devon also wants to make it clear that maintaining your individuality while in search of a partner just as important.
Touching specifically on the topic of the dating during a recent speaking engagement, DeVon pointed out how not having a strong sense of self before going into a new relationship or re-entering the dating scene can prove detrimental in the end.

Devon and Megan have been making their rounds to promote their new book The Wait, which was released in February of this year and details the early stages of their relationship, journey to the alter and keys to a successful marriage. The couple made headlines leading up to their 2012 nuptials after publicly announcing their plans to abstain from sex until they were married.
