It looks like a Las Vegas trip is in order!
According to the Las Vegas Sun, music icon Diana Ross will take her talents to the city to being a mini-residency of nine performances.
The Venetian will host the diva as she brings her show, “The Essential Diana Ross: Some Memories Never Fade” to the stage.
She will perform some of her most famous Motown hits including, “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” and pop chart-toppers like “I’m Coming Out” and “Endless Love.”
“Las Vegas attracts the biggest names in the world, so it is only fitting that one of the most remarkable entertainers of all time brings her talent to a uniquely intimate stage,” John Nelson, senior VP of AEG Las Vegas, told the Las Vegas Sun. ”This limited engagement will allow audience members an unforgettable experience with a living legend.”
Ross isn’t the only living legend that is making her way to Las Vegas. It has also been reported that Mariah Carey is set to begin her show in May and Janet Jackson and Lionel Richie have signed on for follow up residencies.
The Essential Diana Ross will kick off April 1.
