The world is mourning the loss of boxing legend Muhammad Ali.
After the iconic fighter was hospitalized earlier this week for reasons related to his Parkinson’s disease, several news reports said his condition was rapidly deteriorating. As family rushed to his side, many began to fear the worst and send their prayers.
Late Friday evening it was confirmed that Ali had died at the age of 74 and fans and supporters are in shock. An outpouring of love and grief from around the world immediately engulfed the Internet and a host of Ali’s celebrity friends took to social media to express their grief, send condolences and celebrate his life.
Fellow boxing superstars George Foreman and Mike Tyson, as well as supermodel Naomi Campbell, were among those who send heartfelt messages from their personal Twitter pages.
