An federal inmate in a Colorado prison who claimed to be the heir to Prince’s fortune was proven wrong after DNA results reveal the late singer is not his father.
According to USA Today, Carlin Q. Williams has no legal entitlement to Prince’s $300 million estate following his unexpected death in April.
The 39-year-old stated he was the son of the singer and his mother, Marsha Henson remains emphatic that the results are wrong as she claims she and Prince had unprotected sex in a Missouri hotel in 1976.

“I don’t believe that,” Henson said. “I think they’re positive.”
Williams is currently serving an eight year sentence for unlawfully transporting a firearm in a stolen vehicle.
Without a will, under Minnesota law his estate would go to his sister and his half-siblings. They would control his brand, including Prince’s NPG record label, thousands of unreleased songs and the contents of a vault the musician left behind.
