Don Lemon has mastered petty.
As a CNN anchor, it’s Lemon’s job to stay abreast of the ever-changing drama coming from the White House, and on Tuesday when challenged about his reporting by Bill O’Reilly, he was quick to clap back.
The Fox New’s host posted a message on Twitter calling out Lemon for not reporting on former national security advisor, Susan Rice’s “unmasking” of Trump aides involved with Russians. Rice, like former President Barack Obama, is another name on the list of people who Trump believes was surveilling him and his associates before making his way into the White House.
“The allegation is that somehow the Obama administration officials utilized intelligence for political purposes,” Ms. Rice told the journalist Andrea Mitchell on MSNBC. “That’s absolutely false.”
Despite her complete denial and no evidence to back up these claims, O’Reilly felt the need to call out Lemon for not covering the topic on his show.
“While some outlets have downplayed the explosive allegations against former Obama aide Susan Rice, CNN’s Don Lemon went all the way and declared his show a Rice-Free Zone,” O’Reilly notes in the link he tweeted.
In response Lemon said, “False. I did not refuse to cover the story. But I did cover your sexual harassment allegations. Did you?”

The sexual harassment allegations he’s referring to come from a The New York Times investigative report that dug up the $13 million in payouts against the 67-year-old conservative host.
O’Reilly, like Trump, should probably spend more time dealing with his mess than deflecting. Watch the video above.
