Pastor and award-winning gospel legend Donnie McClurkin released his first CD in five years entitled, “We All Are One.”
“I decided to record in Detroit after much prayer," said McClurkin. "I put a lot of thought into the cities we record. My mentor Andrae Crouch made one of his best CDs live in London, so I did the same thing some 20 years afterwards Recording in Detroit this time goes without saying because that’s home!
“When I think about my legacy I hope people will say whether you like Donnie McClurkin or not at least he’s real,” says McClurkin. "He has a genuine love for God and mankind. He’s transparent so when he’s wrong, he doesn’t mind being the first one to amit it.
In June, McClurkin will celebrate his eight-year anniversary as the pastor of Perfecting Faith Church in Long Island, New York. “I don’t have a church. I don’t have any members. It’s not mine. Well who’s it? If it ain’t min then it’s God’s.”

McClurkin sells to a sold-out audience on the One Love Cruise. “Everybody understands love that’s what I want to promote,” says McClurkin.
McClurkin says he has learned to do and say everything in love. “I learned that I wasn’t loving right and that’s hurt me more than anything. What I mean by that is that in my lack of love I might have given people the Word but not delivered it with the love of God. In other words, I might be right in what I say, but wrong in how I deliver.”
