It seems Malachi Love-Robinson, aka Dr. Love, just can’t stop scamming.
Love-Robinson was busted again this time in Virginia. BuzzFeed reports that the 19-year-old was arrested after fraudulently trying to purchase a Jaguar. On Friday, employees at Kargar Motors Car Dealership notified police that Love-Robinson was displaying suspicious behavior after the teen put an elderly woman’s name down as co-signer on a credit application for a Jaguar. After a Google search brought Love-Robinson’s history to their attention, the employees alerted authorities that the teen was fraudulently purchasing a Jaguar.

Police also contacted a woman Love-Robinson claimed was his mother, who turned out to actually be a distant-relative. She declined to co-sign the Jaguar when contacted by deputies. A further search also showed recently submitted loan applications in her name and two iPad and cellphone purchases totaling $1,200. Lov-Robinson allegedly bragged about the purchases to dealership employees, the iPads were later seized.
Love-Robinson is currently facing numerous charges from his previous arrests in Florida, which include larceny, identity theft, and posing as a doctor. His current lawyer is reportedly hoping to pursue an insanity defense.
