Drake wants to bring Houston a new “dance experience” called “The Ballet.”
The Views rapper first announced his new pop-up venture, which made its Labor Day weekend debut, as an experience that’s “here to stay.”
What may just sound like a glorified strip club has been explained rather as a “new dance experience.” Where women dressed in ballet shoes (and not much else) perform dance moves on poles and aerial silks while “business attire” clad men shower them in cash.
“Tonight is a different take on how it should be done in Houston,” Drake posted on Instagram after Monday night’s event.

“Treat yourself don’t cheat yourself. Where the women are on a pedestal and the surroundings are unforgettable. The Ballet pop up tonight for HAW. Grand opening early 2017.”
Drake explains in a video taken from the night of the pop-up debut that he wants to bring ballet to Houston in the most “honest and genuine” way possible.
