Just months after Eddie Murphy’s box office success with “Tower Heist,” the famed actor has set his sights on another project.
This time around he’s signed up to portray former Washington D.C. Mayor Marion Barry in an HBO production. There is no word on exact details of the film, but it will most likely chronicle Barry’s rise to power and his downfall through drug addiction. He served as mayor from 1979 to 1991 and then from 1995 to 1999.
