The latest single from her 2017 EP, Ready, ‘Boo’d Up’ takes listeners through the all-consuming feeling of falling in love. Ella’s laid-back vocals glide with ease over a mid-tempo track, as the song’s lyrics provide a simplistic, yet detailed play-by-play of all the feelings associated with beginning a journey with a new love.
In the visual for the single, Ella and her bearded bae are all smiles as they’re seen on what looks like a first date at a local fair. The visual also includes a cameo from Grammy-nominated crooner, Khalid and rising Hip Hop artist, Kamiayah.
