Brothers Christopher and Cameron Ervin alledgedly tried to kill their parents earlier this month, according to CNN. The two young men, 22 and 17, were charged with two counts of felony aggravated assault and first-degree arson. Both will be tried as adults and if convicted, face as many as 60 years in prison. However, parents Zachary and Yvonne have forgiven their children.
The parents have since appeared on Good Morning America where Zachary described the incident as “one bad moment.””We love our sons, we love them unconditionally,” said the father. The mother, Yvonne said: “People don’t know our sons, so it may be easy to say, ‘I can’t forgive,’ but I ask people to take it personally. What if it was your son?”
Good question: what if it was your sons? Would you forgive your children no matter what, or are some things just plain unforgivable?
