Over the weekend, fans crowded into Atlanta’s Lakewood Amphitheatre to enjoy the seventh annual ONE Musicfest, featuring a rocking lineup of performances from artists like Erykah Badu, Dungeon Family, Jazmine Sullivan and BJ the Chicago Kid.
The 11-hour music festival was an instant hit with concertgoers, but the real treat came after the show for those fans who follow Ms. Badu on Instagram. She posted a selfie she took with her ex, rapper Andre 3000, who was there to perform with the rest of the Dungeon Family.
Erykah’s comment section was absolutely lit with romantic nostalgia pouring from fans’ hearts after this feel-good photo made its debut in their feeds.
“Get married,” begged one fan.
“Now this makes my heart glow!” said another.
“Coolest co-parenting ever…” chimed in another.
“I wasn’t ready,” was a shared sentiment by many, while others speechless fans could only use romantic emojis to emphasize their joy to see the former couple reunited for the ‘gram.

You’ll recall that Erykah and André dated for nearly four years in the mid-90s and welcomed a son, Seven Sirius Benjamin, in 1997. The Outkast star is said to have been inspired by the split when he wrote the group’s 2000 smash hit “Ms. Jackson.”
During the festival, Erykah and André performed simultaneously on different stages, which made an onstage duet impossible, but that didn’t stop a fan from belting a request for one mid-performance, Billboard reports. ‘I can’t do ‘Hello.’ Andre is on another stage,” Erykah responded. “That’s the only reason I’m here. They called me and asked me to perform at the summer festival, and I’m like, ‘What’s that? The Dungeon Family? Yes, I’ll be there.’”
Enjoy the moment for now people, because we’re pretty sure Erykah and André have moved on and are not getting back together. (He’s engaged after all!)
