If you live on the East Coast, chances are you were hit by a massive snowstorm this week, which meant one thing: snow day!
Unfortunately, traditional snow days where you can lounge about and play outside all day may be a thing of the past. These days, a snow day really means working from home.
A new study from Stanford University shows that employees that work from home were 19 percent more productive than their colleagues in the office. According to the study, working from home means less noise and fewer breaks to distract employees leading them to getting more work done in each minute than those who work in an office.
Still, working from the comforts of home has its own distractions. You could be tempted to go to bed, watch daytime TV or your children could need your attention. Not to mention, working from home can get pretty lonely.
What do you think? Are you more productive working from home or in the office? Take our poll and let us know how you spend your days off in the comments below.
