According to the Pew Research Center, a recent study found that for the first time since the 1970s “middle income’ people have become the minority.

The study lists factors such as income-growth and the nation’s economic progress as driving forces for the new information.

The Pew Research Center also notes that demographics including African Americans, married people and women have made notable gains over the years.

Where do you fall on the scale? We live in a time where women are more able to take control of their career and income and entrepreneurship is seeing a huge spike.
