Does attending service every Sunday make you any more Christian? Does Friday worship make you any more Muslim or Jewish? These are questions being asked following findings from the Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life showing that more Americans (of all religions) are opting out of worship service.
The study found that roughly 3 in 10 American adults (29 percent) “seldom” or “never” attend worship service, up from 23 percent a decade ago. Of those under 30, the study found that that 32 percent claim no religious identity at all. And when they do, fewer than 10 percent say they regularly attend worship service.
