New data from Glassdoor—a job site that compiles data about the workplace—reveals that there are careers that allow for greater work-life balance than most. They include tour guides, firefighters, lifeguards, group fitness instructors and social media managers. So, work-life balance is possible. But is it lucrative? Indeed, among the professionals who report having the greatest balance are real estate brokers, equity traders, law clerks, and data scientists.
