There are few dates history that truly mark women’s achievements. In 1920, women were granted the right to vote. In 1960, birth control was approved. In 1963, the Equal Pay Act was passed. In 1972, Ms. magazine published their first issue.
Today, names like Michelle Obama, Shonda Rhimes, Hilary Clinton, Oprah Winfrey and Beyonce all remind us how far women have come. We’re in movies, in board rooms, flying airplanes and even making our way to the White House. Like Beyonce says, girls run the world.
But a recent Time article pointed out one place that women aren’t: On money. After a little girl questioned the President about why women aren’t on money, it got us thinking of the other places that women aren’t represented. So we want to know, where else would you like to see more women represented? Take our poll and let us know your thoughts.
