What the Obamas will do after exiting the White House is on everyone’s minds.
Sadly, President Obama has crossed off a major hope from our lists.
On Thursday, during a town hall in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, POTUS shared that there’s no chance the First Lady will make a run for the Oval Office, reports the Huffington Post.
State of The Union Style Through The Years
“Let me tell you, there are three things that are certain in life: death, taxes and Michelle is not running for president,” he said in response to an audience question. “That I can tell you.”
The President celebrated his wife for her work as a first lady and said that her social activism won’t end after they leave 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
“The work she has done around reducing childhood obesity, the work she and Jill Biden have done with military families…I could not be prouder of her and she is going to be active as an ex-first lady,” he added.
