Women from all five branches of the military, Dr. Jill Biden, and cast of Lifetime television show “Army Wives” attended the event.
Mrs. Obama praised the women for all their dedication to love ones who are deployed and said the tea is just one way to say “thank you.” “We’ve been moved by your strength, your courage, and more importantly your sacrifice,” she said.
