First Lady Michelle Obama wants you to help her inspire students across the country to apply to college through her new social media campaign, #ReachHigher.
This morning, FLOTUS took to social media to ask all college students and graduates to post a picture of themselves wearing their college gear, using the hashtag #ReachHigher on popular social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Vine.
“Education is the key to success for so many kids. And my goal specifically is to reach out directly to young people and encourage them to take charge of their futures and complete an education beyond high school,” says the First Lady on the initiative’s website.
You can also follow the initiative at @ReachHigher (Twitter), @ReachHigher2020 (Instagram), and online at ReachHigher.gov.
The hashtag has already taken off on social platforms like Twitter and Instagram with help from celebrities like Tatyana Ali and Aisha Tyler (both Ivy League graduates) who wasted no time supporting the First Lady and sharing their school pride.
