Christmas came in July for deserving single moms in the Los Angeles.
In light of recent marks of violence, rapper The Game and Single Moms Club star Zulay Henao are looking to shed some positivity on the world by giving single mothers a chance to win free groceries for a month. The Game took to Instagram yesterday to announce the pair’s joint #YoMamaMyMama campaign, in partnership with Partners in Kynd, to give back to single mothers.
The rapper posted a video with an accopmanying caption announcing the news. “Today, we’re taking you & your mother to the grocery store in your neighborhood & hooking her up with groceries for a month,” he said.

Game’s IG post went on to provide the public with instructions on how to enter. And we have to say, it’s not a bad deal. You don’t even have to live in L.A. to win.
The Game went on to post a series of pictures of himself and Zulay alongside one of their first winners, Eunice Hicks and her mother Yvette HIcks. His final post of the day explained he and Zulay’s inspiration to start their philanthropic efforts by saying, “in the midst of all the negativity & tragedy the world has witnessed over the past 10 days… I wake up on a mission to try to spread as much positivity as possible in hopes of shifting the negativity & creating a more peaceful vibe amongst us all.”
