He avoided the media and neglected to make a statement upon exiting. Accompanied by an unidentified man, Zimmerman entered a white BMW and drove off.
The shooter posted $15K, just 10 percent of the $150K bail originally set by Circuit Judge Kenneth Lester Jr., on Friday.
It’s unknown where Zimmerman, who is claiming self-defense in the case, will live as he awaits trial on second-degree murder charges; however, reports indicate it will be outside the state of Florida.
Judge Lester demanded that while out on bail, Zimmerman must refrain from drinking alcohol, using drugs or firearms and observe a curfew of 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. He is also not allowed to possess a gun.
Zimmerman was also ordered to surrender his passport.
