Don’t expect the Chi-Town native to be just another alpha male in the pack, there’s plenty of that with Common, JB Smoove and Cedric the Entertainer in the mix. “When I took the role, I thought, why I gotta be soft? Why can’t I be some leading man figure?” laughs The Second City alum. “But then I realized that’s every other guy in the movie.”

Although Morris’ Jerrod is as moist as a slice of “Dunkin Hines” red velvet cake, the youngest of four siblings brings the improv funny, delivers memorable one-liners, gets a smooch from a female stylist and makes his clipper game look official onscreen.
“There was a time when I was too broke to pay for a haircut, so I had to cut my own hair. Then I’d cut my friends’ hair. That’s how I got nice,” says Morris who’s in the lab working on a comedy album and a musical mockumentary. “I wouldn’t trust me on someone’s head now. You’d be very patchy. But the lining? The lining would be on point.”
