Four years after her gold medal-winning performance at the 2012 London Olympics, 20-year-old Gabby Douglas is chronicling her journey to the 2016 Rio Games in Douglas Family Gold.

“Now I want to do the impossible,” she told in a PEOPLE exclusive trailer for the series. “No American gymnast has ever gone back and defended their title.”
Douglas first made history by becoming the first Black American to win the USA team and individual all-around gold medals at the last Summer Games – talk about serious Black Girl Magic – and is not shying away from the pressure in this new series. “I have more [to offer], and I’m so excited to show you guys,” shares Douglas.

The series will also showcase Douglas off the mat – the triumphs and sacrifices her family is making and details about her love life. “I have one relationship,” says Gabby, “his name is Gym Nastics.” “The road to Rio will not be easy,” she affirms. “If I can do this, it won’t just be my gold, it’ll Douglas Family Gold.”
The series will premiere May 25 at 10 PM ET on Oxygen.
