Finally! These two can agree on something.
Yesterday, lawyers for Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry met in court and reached a truce regarding their on-going custody battle over their 4 1/2-year-old daughter, Nahla.
According to People, Berry’s attorney Blair Berk read a statement saying, “The parties have reached an amicable agreement. There will be no further statements regarding this matter.”
Although a bruised and battered Aubry was present in court wearing sunglasses shielding wounds he suffered during a Turkey Day brawl with Olivier Martinez, Berry was absent from court. The brawl itself is still a matter the police are investigating. LAPD Commander Andrew Smith says Aubry was the primary “instigator” of the incident, and he’s unsure if the case will move forward.
The details of their new agreement are not known. In addition, the current state of Aubry’s restraining order against Martinez is not known. Berry’s protective order filed against Aubry expired yesterday.
Things came to a head after a judge denied Berry’s request to relocate her family to Paris. The actress claims her daughter’s quality of life would improve because of the country’s strict paparazzi laws.
