Halle Berry is thrilled at being pregnant for the second time at 46. The Academy-Award winning actress says, “I feel fantastic.”
On Friday, Berry and her fiancé, Olivier Martinez, 47, confirmed they are indeed expecting their first child together. Berry said she was stunned to learn the news. “This has been the biggest surprise of my life to tell you the truth,” Berry told CNN last night at Michael Kors’ U.N. World Food Programme to fight hunger. “I thought I was kind of past the point where this could be a reality for me. So it’s been a big surprise and the most wonderful.”
Berry has a five-year-old daughter, Nahla, with her ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry.
Nahla’s been praying for a sibling every night. Berry told Wendy Williams, “We pray to God, so sweet. She says, ‘God, please bring me a bunk bed and a baby sister.'” Although reports are saying she’s having a boy, Berry said she didn’t know the sex of the baby.
Earlier this year, Berry put her plans to relocate her family to France on hold until Nahla turned 18. The news came after a rather lengthy court battle, in which a judge turned down her request.
