Halle Berry may be busy preparing for the birth of her second child, her first with fiancé Olivier Martinez, but she’s already inking post-baby movie deals.
According to Variety, Berry will star in and produce the upcoming indie comedy Mother. It’s set to begin filming next year.
Mother follows the story of a woman who leaves her mobster fiancé at the alter and ends up on the run. Berry’s character spends her time hiding and pretending to be a young boy’s mother.
Berry recently wrapped up shooting X-Men: Days of Future Past, which is set to be released next year.
She’s also been busy lobbying for stronger paparazzi laws that would protect children.
