Most of the time, Halle Berry likes to be in control. But on Mother’s Day she lets her family make all the plans.
The expecting mother told People recently, “My family gets together and they get to plan the day for me, and I love that.”
“I’m a planner and I’m the one that organizes, and on Mother’s Day I get to just be taken care of,” said Berry. From the looks of paparazzi pictures, Berry was treated to a very nice Mother’s Day lunch by her daughter, Nahla, and fiancé, Olivier Martinez, at Beverly Hill’s Riva Bella restaurant.
Despite the media buzzing and speculating over the sex of the baby, Berry says she doesn’t know what she’s having. “We’re having a baby, that’s for sure,” said the X Men actress.
Berry announced she’s expecting her second child last month. “This has been the biggest surprise of my life to tell you the truth,” said Berry. “I thought I was kind of past the point where this could be a reality for me. So it’s been a big surprise and the most wonderful.”
