It wasn’t a very happy Thanksgiving for Halle Berry. In fact, it may have been a personal worst for the Oscar-winning actress. Berry’s ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry (inset) got into a brawl with her current fiancé, Olivier Martinez.
According to People, the fight broke out at Berry’s California home when Aubry dropped off their daughter, Nahla. Apparently, Martinez “approached” Aubry to speak when they began fighting. Martinez may have suffered a broken hand and neck injuries while Aubry reportedly suffered a broken rib, cuts on his face and a possible head injury. Both men were treated at a local hospital.
After finishing treatment, Aubry was immediately arrested for a “private persons arrest for battery,” said LAPD Commanding Officer, Andrew Smith.
Aubry was released on $20,000 bail, reports the Hollywood Reporter. He’s now scheduled to appear in court on December 13. An emergency protective order was immediately granted—forcing Aubry to stay at least 100 yards away from his ex-lover, Martinez and Nahla.
It’s unclear what started the brawl.
Aubry and Berry have been engaged in a heated custody battled over Nahla. Berry petitioned the court for permission to relocate her family to Paris recently. Unfortunately, her request was denied.
