At the young age of 32, this Gospel singer and actress has always been a blossoming star in the entertainment industry with an impressive career thus far.
In between and after Destiny’s Child’s many albums and tours, Williams embarked on several solo music projects — completing two Gospel albums and one secular album. She also launched a successful acting career, starring in Broadway’s Aida, Chicago and Oprah Winfrey’s The Color Purple. Just last year, Williams finished a successful run of What My Husband Doesn’t Know, co-starring Brian White.
Earlier this summer, Williams announced a new Gospel record deal with Light Records. At the time she said, “I am so honored to follow in the footsteps of Light Records legends, The Winans and Andrae Crouch.” Her fourth solo project is slated to hit stores in January 2013.
