Okay, world, you can stop saying that Jada Pinkett-Smith and Will Smith are in an “open marriage.” They’re not. And, this comes straight from the misses’ mouth. In a recent radio interview with Howard Stern, the host asked Pinkett-Smith to set the record straight.
“Look I’m not here to be anybody’s watcher,” Pinkett-Smith responded. I’m not his watcher. He’s a grown man….Here is what I trust: The man that Will is is a man of integrity. So he’s got all the freedom in the world. So as long as Will can look at himself in the mirror and be OK? I’m good.”
For the record: That doesn’t sound like a hall pass to us.
The notoriously candid actress went on to say that although she felt she was “too damn young” when she got married at 25, she credits the success of her 18-year marriage to Smith with him being a “gangster partner.”
