White told Extra backstage on Monday night’s show, “It was a tough personal week for me, and whatever is going on, comes out.”
Fellow contestants Donald Driver and Mark Ballas reportedly intervened into the situation and later defended White. “[It] wasn’t as big of a deal as everyone is making it,” said Ballas. “People get stressed. People go through frustrations. It’s fine now.”
White went on to tell People, “We go to work every day, and there is an alley full of tabloid reporters. It’s not fair to us and that’s life, and I hope people can see through it. There is no drama in my life.”
Despite all of the commotion off the dance floor, White and Johnson did an impressive rumba, scoring 25 points for their performance.
Tune in tonight at 9 p.m. on ABC to see if it was enough to save them.
