Alicia Keys has called on some of her friends for her charity, Keep a Child Alive.
Keys announced on World AIDS Day that Taraji P. Henson, Janelle Monae and Laila Ali are the new ambassadors for the foundation which she founded in 2003, ABC News reported.

The three celebs will offer support on a newly created power council to raise awareness about HIV and AIDS.
Empire actress and Academy award-nominee Taraji P. Henson said in a statement to The Associated Press that “AIDS is the number one cause of death of adolescents in sub-Saharan Africa and the second greatest cause of death worldwide…I’m honored to be supporting Keep a Child Alive in the fight to put an end to this disease.”
At her annual Black Ball charity for Keep a Child Alive, Keys raised $3.8 million for the foundations fight to find a cure.
Janelle Monae added that her partnership with Keys is to use her “voice to help put an end to this epidemic!”
