Motherhood could be in the cards for Janet Jackson.
Months after secretly marrying billionaire boyfriend Wissam Al Mana, she’s said to be “quietly” looking to adopt.
Jackson and Al Mana are reportedly thinking about adopting a child from either Jordan or Syria. “She now pretty much knows pregnancy is not in the cards, so she’s been looking into adopting,” said a source. “She’s been very moved by the events in Jordan and Syria now that she’s been living overseas. Not sure how soon it will happen, but there’s been movement on this.”
Page Six reports that the mega pop star reached out to Jordan’s Queen Rania for help on her adoption process. “Janet has always been concerned about the welfare of the world’s children,” said a source. “And it’s important to her that she affords a baby the opportunities that have been afforded her.”
Jackson wouldn’t be the only celebrity in recent memory to adopt kids. Weeks ago, famous producer and Scandal creator Shonda Rhimes welcomed her third daughter to her family.
