The former couple released a statement to People today saying, “We have decided to end our marriage. This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters.”
Another one bites the dust in Hollywood — and just when we thought we found a couple to stand the test of time… it ends. For Anthony this was his second marriage and for Lopez, her third. Together they have three-year-old twins Max and Emma.
Back in May, ESSENCE.com spoke with the “American Idol” judge about her new album “Love?” When asked about the title, she replied “I just wanted to open up some dialogue on that and get people looking at it like are we doing our best at love? Are these situations things that shouldn’t be happening? Should we be treating each other better? I put the question mark to provoke people in a sense.”
Was Lopez giving us clues that her marriage was on the rocks then?
