No one does drama quite like Victoria Rowell. Last year many Young & the Restless fans were delighted to hear the actress would resume her legendary role as Drucilla Winters on the top-rated CBS soap. However, in true suds fashion it turned out this Twitter talk was just talk; Rowell would not be reprising her role. This news was bad for loyal Y&R viewers but, as it turns out, good for readers. Join us on Wednesday, May 22 at 8:00 PM EST when the daytime diva will dish about her oh-so fast, appropriately furious and fearless second novel, The Young and the Ruthless: Back in the Bubbles (Atria, $15) on our second ESSENCE Book Club Twitter chat.

MEET VICTORIA ROWELL: The award-winning actress and best-selling author will join the ESSENCE Empowerment Experience Stage at the ESSENCE Festival on Friday, July 6, along with Shirley Strawberry, Niecy Nash, and others to talk about being “Sexy at Any Age.”
