Jourdan Dunn and Joan Smalls are taking a cue from good friend Beyonce and making their presence (and dollars) felt.
According to Forbes, the beauties are among the world’s highest paid models for 2014.
Dunn is estimated to have pulled in a cool $4 million, while Smalls earned an equally impressive $3 million.
Although she is a newcomer to the list, Dunn has made her mark joining the rankings thanks to her lucrative contracts with Maybelline and Burberry English Rose Makeup.
A veteran on the catwalk and the rankings, Smalls’ contracts with Tiffany & Co, Neiman Marcus and H&M have kept her in the running.
The list tracks pretax earnings of models who make most of there income modeling, rather than other pursuits like singing or acting.
A significant social media following may have more of an impact on earnings and influence than ever before. Ivan Bart, senior vice president and managing director of IMG models says, “The first question from brands these days is immediately, “how many followers do they have?’
If Dunn and Smalls 763,120 and 578,434 Instagram followers respectively have anything to do with it, both stunners are at the top of their games.
