Joyce Beatty, United States Representative for Ohio’s 3rd congressional district, said if we’re going to have a debate, then let’s have a debate about who wore it best!
While supporting Hillary Clinton during the final night of the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, the politican hit the DNC stage in a dress that looked strinkingly similar to the all-white ensemble Melania Trump wore during the Republican National Convention last week.
It’s definitely a fashion faux pas to consciously wear the same outfit as another person in the spotlight, but Beatty had no shame rocking the ivory-hued frock — and we think she gave Trump a run for her money.

If the tables were turned, social media surely would have dragged Trump through the mud if she attempted to repeat another woman’s outfit during an intense campaign season. But that wasn’t the case with Ohio’s fashion-forward representative. In fact the crowd applauded Beatty and granted her the winner of this fashion faceoff.
