West is nominated in the Best Group category, Video Director of the Year category, Viewer’s Choice category, twice in the Video of the Year category and twice in the Best Collaboration category.
Beyoncé, who’s currently preparing for a quad of Memorial Weekend concerts, is nominated in the Best Female R&B Artist category, Best Collaboration category, Viewers Choice category, Video Director of the Year category alongside her partner Alan Ferguson and twice in the Video of the Year category.
In addition, Maze featuring Franky Beverly will receive the network’s Cadillac Lifetime Achievement Award.
This year’s telecast is set to air on July 1 live from Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium. Samuel L. Jackson will host the star studded event which has already tapped Nicki Minaj and Chris Brown to perform.
