“[My dad] left me and my mom, and I was angry,” says Kelly in the November issue of Cosmo. “I wanted to be a daddy’s girl so bad. But this is not a perfect world.”
Kelly had formerly admitted that she’d be willing to reconnect with her dad, but since then, Papa Rowland spoke to the media, which Kelly was not happy about. Her dad told the “The Mirror” that he wants to make things up to Kelly and that he even has a room in his house “decorated especially for Kelly, just in case she comes through the front door.”
He pleaded: “Kelly, I love you with all my heart. Please forgive me and let me be your dad again.”

“He reached out to me saying he wanted to see me, but it’s unfortunate that he did it so publicly,” said Kelly. “I want to meet him, and soon, I really do. I forgave him a long time ago,”
