S.H.A.U.N. Foundation to Empower Girls and Women
Today, the organization, which empowers women and was founded by Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, launched its Together Women Can campaign, which illustrates the power of women supporting other women. As part of its initiative, the foundation released a video featuring influential women, including Kerry Washington and Serena Williams, discussing the women who helped them get where they are today.

“I’m going to try to say this without getting really emotional, but I’m not really sure what my life would look like if it were not for Shonda Rhimes,” Washington said. “…She has so much power, but she wields it so compassionately and responsibly.”
