Kerry Washington’s husband Nnamdi Asomugha has decided to retire from the NFL at age 32. The former cornerback played eight seasons with the Oakland Raiders and was once considered one of the top-two corners in the league.
Asomugha is also well known for signing a five-year $60 million contract with the Eagles and then getting cut two years later due to his performance.
He most recently signed a one-year contract with the 49ers, but was cut this season in November.
Don’t worry for the soon-to-be father just yet, Business Insider says his post-football prospects look promising citing him as one of the more intelligent players in the league.
