The saga continues for Kevin Clash. A fourth man has stepped forward accusing the former Elmo puppeteer of sexual abuse with a minor, reports TMZ.
The man, who filed a federal lawsuit under the name John Doe, claimed Clash had a sexual relationship with him in 1995 or 1996 when he was just 16 or 17 years old. According to the lawsuit, the accuser claims Clash was in his mid-30s at the time.
He also claims Clash flew him to New York City, provided a place for him to stay and gave him money. “Kevin Clash knowingly paid to transport a minor across state lines for the purpose of satisfying his sexual interests,” said Doe’s attorney, Jeff Herman.
The first alleged victim, Sheldon Stephens, came forward on November 12. The second accuser, Cecil Singleton, filed suit soon after, and as a result, Clash resigned from his job at Sesame Street. A third accuser came forward at the end of November under anonymity—he claims he met Clash when was 16 years old. He has since filed a suit in Manhattan federal court.
